Halloween 2008
A mime, a lion, and a nerd
getting ready for their big night! Will & Kerry are always the best hosts!
They are so good in fact, that we always
overstay our welcome! Yummy food,
fun atmosphere, and GREAT FRIENDS!
What a fun group of kids!
We love the Burkharts and
we love our Halloween tradition!

Getting ready for Halloween!

They are white chocolate dipped Nutter Butters!
Yummy ghosts! We can't wait for tonight!

Oak Creek

After the soccer games on Saturday,
we went to the school to play soccer
as a family and have a picnic. We were
really hot afterward, so we went to
cool off at the creek.
Ty had so much fun running across the creek.
We love it here in Sedona! It is so beautiful!

Surprise!

Amy & Mark (& their kids) decided to surprise our
kids by flying in for a quick stop in Sedona!

Having a pilot for a brother-in-law
has many advantages!

We got to go up as a family
and enjoy the sights of
the beautiful city we live in!

My mom would have been here in a
heartbeat if she had known all the
grandkids were going to be together!

Amy is one of those moms who has it
all together! I am so proud of her! She is
a mother of 4, PTA President, in great shape,
a wonderful cook, and now an interior decorator
in her new house (which I haven't even seen).
The list goes on and on!!! She is amazing!

I love my family~~~big and small! I am the luckiest
girl in the world! I hope they enjoyed themselves in
Sedona because I expect many more of these visits!!!

Stewart-Tidwell Falls

These picture you are about to see
are HIGHLY CLASSIFIED! They were
shot in an undisclosed location that
I have sworn to never tell!

This first photo shows the only way in and out
of what we will call 'Stewart-Tidwell Falls'.
Heather is demonstrating the difficult task of
descending the treacherous rocks. She came up
with a chant that we had to do while pinky swearing.
It went like this:

I swear, I swear, I swear,

Our secret never share,

Of the canyon far and deep

That wandering eyes may never peep.

The path lead us to certain death! Weak
stomaches were not allowed. Heather, as
seen below, shows how her mother, Laura,
got the amazing shots above. Laura held on to
Summer and Sydney's feet as they lay on their
bellies to look over the cliffs edge. Our next outing
will be to find the bottom of these falls. During
monsoon season, these are cascading waterfalls.

I hope you didn't get annoyed by my lame
death defying talk, but I thought typing it
was rather fun! We love the Tidwells and
had a wonderful time with them. Like I said,
I cannot wait until our next adventure with them!

My Adorable Kids!

Ty takes after his mom! He was
enjoying the gorgeous fall leaves!
We went camping this weekend and got
to enjoy all the beautiful sights that surround
us here in Sedona. I have a lot of beautiful pictures
to share, but I will spread them out for you.
I love my camera, and thanks to Laura's
advice, I got some
amazing shots.
I will post more picture later.

Ty's Special Day!

Yesterday was Ty's special day at his
preschool. He was so excited to have
me stay all 3 hours. We had fun!

Ty painted 3 different paintings!
We provided the snack (crackers, cheese,
and apple juice). Ty just loves pouring his
own drink at snack...look at that concentration!

He got to bring in the letter bag, too. He
put a small soccer BALL inside and he thought
he was too cool. Just look at that face!!!

Becky & Brad

I am so happy!!! My little
sister and her husband came
to visit us this weekend!!!

We went golfing (my first REAL time)!
Becky and I got to drive our golf carts.
Brad got behind the wheel of theirs and
nearly killed Jason and me!

Sydney insisted on applying a mud mask
to Aunt Becky......what a good sport she is!!!
This picture was taken on our Geocache hike
that ended up taking about 1 1/2 hours longer than
expected! Notice the lack of water bottles!!!

Aren't they the cutest!?! I just love
Becky & Brad! They are the funnest
couple to be around. I love their visits!
