It was time to head to Utah. Grammy and Pops rented a Tahoe and we crammed in and headed to Porter's farewell.
It was a fun, relatively painless ride for us. Pops, Brad, Summer, and Haley did the all night trek in Brad's truck. They arrived about 7 am. I think we got the better deal.
His farewell talk was wonderful. He told a bit about where he'd be serving for 2 years. He will be in the Marshall Islands speaking Karabati.
He checked into the MTC on Wednesday. He'll be there for 6 weeks, then he's off to the islands.
He will be missed, but we KNOW he will be an incredible missionary.
As if that wasn't enough, Zane then received his Eagle that night. I'm one very proud aunt!
