Leave a Memory!

Jen Rose had this on her blog,
so it's my turn:
Here is a fun little game...Leave a comment on my blog
of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't
matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time,
anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions
on your blog and see how many people leave a memory
about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.
If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing
the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you....

I have a ton of memories too! I loved when you got to come over for pedicures and lunch and totally have a girls day! That was so much fun...but so was our recent shopping day! And, Syd's party. It's always fun when you're around. I'm so glad you are my friend!

OK! Not fair for a mom! There are way too many to pick! From splashing the water to scare away the fish to the identical twin who fell off the chairlift! Some of the sweetest are helping a first time mom with her beautiful baby girl with the "natural" breastfeeding initiation or painting clouds on a blue wall in the nursery, or travelling in a very crowded car to Chester and Conway Castle. I could go on and on. What a joy to have you as my daughter. You have taught me so much and continue to bring great joy as I see what a wonderful mother you are to the worlds cutest grandkids. I love you!

How can I share just one memory when we’ve shared my entire lifetime together? So, rather than pick just one, here’s a list of some of my favorites:
• Pretending to put make-up on each other when we were bored at Grandma’s or church
• Making up our own cleaning supply commercials when we had to clean the bathroom
• Listening to you tell me the story of Les Miserables as we laid in bed at night since I didn’t get to go to the play
• Always knowing what you got me for Christmas before I ever opened it since you just couldn’t wait to tell me!
• “Good job, apple-blob!”
• Suffering through the transition from Jenny to the more distinguished Jennifer
• Learning to drive a stick in the Ziggarat parking lot at age 10
• Being super jealous that all my friends would rather hang out with you than with me
• The dead kitty under the garage door incident
• Hearing all about how the latest boyfriend was sooo much better than the last one!
• Crying all the way home from Idaho when we dropped you off at Ricks
• Norman
• Going tanning before your wedding and getting cooked---Never Again!
• Attempting to make Doughnuts in your apartment in Vegas and smoking out the place!
• Penne a la Vodka in NYC
• The stinky alley in London when you were pregnant with Ty and thought you were going to die
• The world’s best candy buffet at my wedding!
• Slide Rock at age 8 and again at 26
• Laughing together, crying together, and being so grateful to have the best sisters in the world! I couldn’t have asked for better role models! You’re my hero---now and forever! I love you!

Why is it my girls always outdo me? What fun memories Becky had but I don't know anything about driving a stick at age 10 - do tell!
