Our Memorial Day

We started it off with a bang...or a crack. Last night, Dallin Wassmer (Sydney's good friend) and his family brought by a coconut cream pie Dallin had made. While we ate and enjoyed it, the kids played out front. Syd and Ty had been building an obstacle course and Dallin decided to try to hurdle over the surfboard. He had Ty and Grant (his 5 yr old brother) raise it a little over waste high. He made it over, but obviously landed wrong. Take a look for yourself. Ouch!!!

I'll post more to show you how we spent the next day with Dallin and his family. We crammed a lot in. Guess we were feeling guilty and sad to be moving away from such great friends.
