Girls Camp...Montana style

The girls and I just returned
from a 5 day adventure at
Girls Camp.  It was great
fun and I am so glad I could go!
We are used to being the smallest ward in Arizona,
but who knew it would follow us to Montana!?!
That's all of us from Central Ward.  Tiny fish
in a big sea.  Our Stake is Huge!  Double the
size of our Arizona Stake...plus some!
One great thing about this camp
was the assortment of activities
available to us:  Repelling, Canoeing,
Swimming (with leaches), Ropes
Course, Rifles, and Archery!
Summer was an old pro at repelling.
Both girls were in the first group racing
up the stairs to repel down the wall.  I
was so proud of them.  They fear nothing...
except elevators (Syd anyway).  Weirdo!
Montana is so beautiful.  The scenery
was breathtaking.  It was really neat  to
have dear walking through our camp
throughout the week.
Now, it's time to catch up on some
sleep.  4-5 hrs a night doesn't cut it.  :)

My fabulous in-laws

I love these people! Life is good. :) Too bad Blogger is cropping the pictures too tight. Sorry Grandad.

Our Montana summer

Just a glimpse into our summer here in Montana so far. Slip-n-slides, redneck surfing, and all. :)

Some of our Vegas fun!

We had a great time with Grandma and Grandad (more pictures to come). We also had lots of cousin time, as you can see. Movies, swimming, shopping, eating, etc. We love them all so much. Miss them already!

Sea World...Part 2

Another great day was spent at Sea World on Wednesday. Libby is Shamu's biggest fan. We miss CA already.

Las Vegas!

We made it to Grandma and Grandad's
in Las Vegas.  It's 104*, so you
know what that means!
 Summer the mermaid,
 Syd the mermaid,
and Ty the merman!

Before and After

Ty wasn't so sure about Manta (the new rollercoaster at Sea World). Neither was Ellie. One week later, I couldn't get him off of the thing! :)
Check out the facials...before and after.

Paddleboarding

Another great day. Dana Point paddle boarding. Another thing crossed off Summer's bucket list. :)

Deep Sea Fishing

 The last day of Grammy
and Pops Camp sent the kids
into the great abyss.
Deep Sea Fishing!!!
 Here's part of the gang.
They had 12 in all.
 Pops and his piglets.
 My girls started kissing fish
many years ago.  I guess they have
decided eating them is better.  :)
It wasn't a very successful day when it
came to fishing.  Of all of my kids,
only Syd caught some (2 little ones).
 Pops being Pops!
Here's the whole gang (minus Haley).
Lots of fun memories,
once again!

Sea World: Part One

When Sea World claims the first
few rows are Soak Zones...
they aren't kidding!
This innocent Shamu splash
made us all look as if we
dove in head first!
 Ellie, Ty, Amy, Max, and
I were the only ones tough
enough to withstand splash
after splash from Shamu.
I think we deserve some sort of
award for that.  Especially Max!!!
All of us braved the boat version
of Tower of Terror.  We were
wet, but it was worth it!
Lexi and I watched as Becky took her turn.
That's the gang during and after.  They survived.
Hayley joined us and she was a
welcome addition.  The boys like flirting
with her and Summer gets along with her
really well.  We'd take her anytime!
My kids got 7 day passes, and I got a year
pass with Becky.  What does that mean?
The Stewarts and Macbeths go again
this Wednesday!  Yay!!!

Spoiled? For sure!

 Tanner and Sydney
This week has been insane!
We are having a blast in Southern
California with our cousins.
 Ellie
From Sea World, to beach camping,
we have been moving non-stop!
Ty has spent every moment in the water...
even at the Shamu Show, where we
were DRENCHED in the soak zone.
The best part:
Daddy got to fly in for the weekend to
camp on the beach with us.  We miss
him already.  Many more posts to come!
