Summer's surprise!

Summer has been asking to get

her hair cut for about a month.

Today, she ditched guitar lessons and

I surprised her by taking her to a

salon to get it done. Doesn't she look

older? That's the only part I don't

like about it! Cute, Sum!

Happy 35th, Jason!

Jason turned 35 today. Sadly, we

don't even get to spend his birthday

with him. He started his new position

on the KFC OEC Board and he flew out

to Louisville, KY before we even woke

up this morning. He was excited because

it is all First Class! Too cool.

Jason still has it when it comes to

anything involving a board. He is

a natural athlete. We're pretty proud!

This is Jason with his post cabin

goatee. We aren't so sure about

it yet. He thinks it's crazy how bright

red it is. At least it's not gray!

He was awesome! No fear what-so-ever!

Sydney was a speed-demon

on the mountain. She would

ride on the lifts by herself and

leave us all in her dust!

Summer is an official snowboarder.

She took a lesson and her dad is

really impressed by how quickly she

caught on. Now he has a snow-

board buddy! This picture was

taken after she jumped off the

balcony into the snowbank below!

The Invitation & Hives

Ty's having his big 3 party this Friday.

He loves green, so we ran with it!

to the Juniper Trees that are all over

Sedona! Benadryl is our best friend!

School Stuff

Ty works hard on the playground at

school. He loves the tunnels & slides! Sydney had a report & art project due

today. She did it on the echidna from

Australia. She did such a cute job (using

a sock, hairbrush, and a baby bottle

nipple)! How clever!

Summer made high honors (only 2
kids did in all of 5th grade). This is a picture
of her shaking hands with the faculty.

Summer and McKenna have been neck in

neck in grades since the first grade. A little

friendly competition never hurt anyone, right?
