The whole Stewart Gang

The following pictures explain
why we had so much fun at the
reunion.  :)  We love our family!
The cute Rice kids.
The adorable Phillips Family.
The entire Rice clan.
Aunt Jenny surrounded by her loved ones.
And the Stewart family (minus
Brady and Fletcher).
See why we love them so!?!

Cabin Trip 2012

We had another great Stewart Reunion
at the cabin this weekend.
Too bad it's now a 13 hour drive.
That was a killer!
Grandad told us a lot of really
great stories about the old
days on Rock'n X Ranch.
His dad started that ranch in Vegas
before Vegas was 'Vegas'.  We
also refer to it as Stewart Ranch.
Gary was a good sport posing for
all of my pictures.  Well worth it
if you ask me!  I love them!!!
Here are all the grandkids (minus Brady on his mission
and Fletcher on High Adventure).  We went
on a beautiful hike to Louder Pond.
And here is the whole crew wearing
their shirts.  I was in charge of the
craft and we used the old branding
iron to brand our shirts.  I think they
turned out great.  I love that gang!

Drive-in theatre!

We have a drive-in theatre here in Billings. It's the first time I've been since I was a little girl. We watched The Amazing Spiderman with our friends, the Mitchells. Thursday nights, the whole carload gets in for $15. How's that for a great deal! We hope to hit it up a few more times this summer.

Date Night...Montana Style!

The Wassmers were in charge of
date night last night.  They plan the
best activities!  We went to
the shooting range they
are members of.
I haven't been since I went with
my family when I was probably
Sydney or Summer's age.
Not too shabby.  :)
That is, until I compared mine
with Jeanelle's!  She could
be a sharp shooter.  :)
Kyle has the whole set-up.
Digital hearing aids, earphones,
goggles, ammo, and all kinds
of guns.  We only shot
hand guns this time.
Jeanelle made me feel better when
she explained that she took classes.
I was still really impressed!
Jasonn got to take out some agression.
He really needed to.  :)
Fun friends, fun activities,
and beatiful surroundings.
Montana is pretty sweet.

Summer's first job!

Summer has started working for our friends, the Bains, on Saturdays around town. They run a crepe station called Crepe Diem (Seize the Crepe). Cute name, right?!? Anyway, she is their crepe filler. She's having fun and getting paid. What's she saving for? Next summer she wants to go to Fiji for three weeks on a humanitarian trip through our church. She has to raise $2600. Donations gladly accepted. :)

Mount Rushmore

Yet another state to visit
while we live so close.
I was waving, not saluting.
I look like an idiot.  :}
Every state flag is on display
as you enter the viewing area.
It looks really cool.
We were sweating like crazy,
then within an hour, the
heavens opened and
we were soaked.
I hear that's how it
goes in South Dakota.
This was our first glimpse as we rounded
the bend in our car.  Ty was the first
one to see it and it was truly
awe inspiring!
My 3 little angels
making memories together.
I don't know if I have mentioned it on here
before, but Sydney has the HUGGEST crush
on Abraham Lincoln (we aren't allowed
to call him Abe since he wasn't fond
of the nickname).  She says that if he
were alive today, she would be
Mrs. Lincoln.  I have some pictures
of her kissing his cheek, but we'll save
those for blackmailing her
in the future.
It was another great day!!!

Yellowstone

First off, I hope you can see what
is going through the arch at the
same time as us.  ELK!
How's that for timing!?!
Wyoming treated us well.
All of the geysers were breathtaking.
This one was my favorite.  It looked
like someone put tile around
the edges like a swimming pool.  :)
The colors were amazing!
Madi was our photographer
while Old Faithful was going off!
We went off some trails while driving
and found some bubbling spots.
Too bad Ty fell through the
floor and burnt his foot in
the boiling water.
Stay on trails, people!
Montana treats us pretty well, too.  :)
A quick stop-off at
Yellowstone Lake.
Another along the Yellowstone River.
This was our spot we picked
to sit and watch Old Faithful.
It was a pretty great day!!!

South Dakota fun

When we decided to hit up
Mount Rushmore while Madi was
here visiting from Arizona,
I also found a hotel attached
to an indoor water park.
Hello!?!  Of course we went!  :)
We took the underwater camera
and attempted to take a few
shots while flying down
the water slides.
Harder than you think.
We climbed those stairs a million
times between the two
days and all have buff
legs now to prove it.
I wish!
This slide was our favorite.
The toilet bowl!
I think Madi had fun
during her week stay here.
I sure hope so!
Here's one final shot of the
toilet bowl.  Summer and Ty were
on that ride every time I
turned around.  Ty went with me
on it once and I ended up submerged
at the bottom with Ty landing on my neck.
Fun, but painful.  He decided Summer
was more fun.  Whatever!  ;)

Can you say spoiled?!?

My baby girl was beyond surprised when her Aunt and Uncle presented her with her own set of wheels. Summer is now the proud owner of the Macbeths old Honda Civic. That's one lucky girl!
