A day of pampering...
mud masks with the girls,
pedicures with Syd (with
my 20 yr. old toe ring)...

...to a delicious dinner at
Javalina Cantina with my
favorite people in the world!

34 years of a DARN GOOD LIFE!!!

Ty came home from pre-school and
looked around.....with a confused look
on his face, he said, "Where is your
birthday?" He wanted a party!!!

Syd loved the pedicure! She
even got rhinestone flowers
on her big toes!

Summer is loving the digital
camcorder Jason bought me!
She wouldn't put it down
at the restaurant.

Random Hail Storm

After school on Friday, Liza and Wendy
came over to spend the night. The weather
took a crazy turn and we got HAIL!
The girls had so much fun getting
pelted and soaked! Oh, to be a kid again!

The Circus

For a year straight, Ty has talked about
riding an elephant at the circus! I planned
poorly last year and only took $40 & we
didn't have enough money to ride the
elephant. This year, we took $100 and
spent all of it! Just look at Ty's face:
IT WAS WORTH EVERY CENT!!!

Will, Christina, & Tanner there, too!

Picture Day

Sydney in 3rd grade

Summer in 6th grade

Unfortunately, they took pictures
after P.E. and at the end of the day.
They still look adorable though, right!?!

Ty's in Preschool!

I cannot believe my baby is in preschool!
He has been SO ready! Ty is such a sweet
little guy and I know he will love his new school!

He attends Mt. View Preschool in Cottonwood.
He gets to ride to school with daddy, and then
ride home with mommy. It's about a 40 minute
drive and I am hoping he will take a nap on the
drive home. He goes Tuesdays and Thursdays.

His buddy Mason is in his class. We are
so lucky to have his mom, Pandi, as one
of the teachers. Ty just loves her!

Summer the Babysitter!

Summer taught Ty & Tanner how
to bake Chocolate Chip Cookies on
Sunday. They were so cute! They
listened so carefully and really did a
great job. The cookies were yummy!

I cannot wait until she is 12 and
can start making a little money
babysitting. She will be an awesome
babysitter! I know I'll hire her!

Sydney is trying out a new look.
What do you think? She has been
cursed with a light stork bite
on her forehead since she was born. She
has always had to wear bangs, and is
finally ready to make the change. She
is so pretty! She would look cute bald!!!

Lake Pleasant

The Backus Family invited us to

go to Lake Pleasant (near Phoenix)
with them after soccer games on
Saturday. They have a beautiful
boat and we had a great time.
We did miss Bessy (our boat), though!Kade, Summer, Sydney, and Alec
were crazy on the tube!!!

Ty, Cali, and Mason
were a little more my
speed. They were sooo
fun to watch! Smiles
from ear to ear!!!

Thanks Mom & Dad!

This was the only time my parents enjoyed
a quiet moment away from my kids in over
a week! Thanks to Kerry for watching Ty
& Scoop, they got to hit their favorite
golf course here in Sedona. Isn't
it just gorgeous!?!

Thanks for everything Mom & Dad!

Traditions:
Every time we go to Lake Powell,
we make the trek up to
Rainbow Bridge.

pelting rain! It ended up being a
gorgeous evening that would have
made for a great dinner (thanks mom).

Lake Powell

Judging by this picture,

you may think we weren't having any fun.

NOT the case! Through wind and rain,

we still loved our trip! Ty always

falls asleep on the boat.

We joined our friends, the Coyner's,

this year. This is Sydney with 2 of their

kids, Tyler and Brooke.

Scoop has officially been declared a
cat. She has used up 3 of her 9 lives.
1. ate rat poison at the cabin
2. dove off a moving boat
3. suffocation via Fritos bag

She keeps us on our toes!!!

Jason enjoyed every minute of

the trip..... now it's back to work.

Louisville, Kentucky

While Jason was in meet- ings

at the KFC headquarters,

I was the ultimate tourist!

I went to the Louisville Slugger Factory

and had a fun tour.

My favorite was Churchill Downs

where they hold the

Kentucky Derby!

When Jason could sneak away from

meetings, we toured together.
