School's out for summer!

Another school year has passed!
What a wonderful school year it was.
Sydney will really miss Ms. Fazzi (her
2nd grade teacher). She loved her!!!!
She had a luau with her class where
I taught the girls to hula and the boys
a warrior dance. They loved it!
Summer left 5th grade with a bang!
Not only was she on Honor Roll, but she won
a bike! Very cool! Her last few days of school
were very busy. She got to go to a High Honors
Luncheon at the golf course restaurant and she
went VIP (earned special treatment)
to a water park in Phoenix. I think she'll
miss 5th grade a little bit, but is ready for 6th!

Sydney's Voice Recital

Tonight was Sydney's 1st
Voice Recital! She invited her
school teacher, Miss Fazzi.

She sang 5 songs (the most of everyone).
1. Zippity Do Dah
2. How Much is That Doggy in the Window?
3. I'd Do Anything
4. Do Re Mi
5. Rubber Ducky
Her daddy gave her roses after.
Miss Fazzi also gave her a carnation.
She was pretty proud of herself,
but I was prouder! She was the youngest,
cutest, and most talented there!
Way to go, Sydney!

Summer's Concert

Tonight was Summer's Upper-grade Band Performance.
She played the steel drums and the violin. Her father
and I couldn't be more proud! She definitely has
skills with instruments!

She played this steel drum and the base
(which is a set of 5 upside down trash cans).
This is Summer's violin teacher, Jonathan
Levingston. We love him! A little too cute
for a violin teacher, right Summer!?! I never
knew 5th grade girls could be so interested
in violin! My moms friend Audrey has generously
loaned Summer a violin to play. Thanks, Audrey!
She'll have to play for you sometime!
